Domaine La Combe aux rêves - Grégoire et Judi Perron

Grégoire and Judi Perron started La Combe aux Rêves after they found a small, beautiful, over 100 year old vineyard of very old Ploussard/Poulsard vines. Slowly they grew to about 2 hectares of wine by finding small plots around their home. They work with their own vines, Pinot noir, Ploussard, Mondeuse, Gamay, Savagnin, Roussette de Savoie as well as a few ancestral and hybrid grapes, some planted over 80 years ago (very old!). They also buy healthy organic Jacquères and Chasselas grapes from the Savoie region (try Jack Erres Dans Les Abimes or La Flûte Agitée) and Chardonnay and Aligoté from Burgundy (try Pearl). Gregoire is self-taught, having learned everything from the influence of winemakers he admires. Judi works in the vineyards, makes the labels and takes care of a horse and the sheep that work happily in the vineyard alongside them. No chemicals, never sulphur, all animal or human power in the vines.
