Jean-Christophe Jézéquel

Jean-Christophe Jézéquel is probably one of the next promising talent in the Loire Valley. We met him back in 2018 on a wine fair in Blois and we will never forget the thrill and surprise it was when we got to drink his first vintage, a superb Sauvignon Blanc that left us absolutely speechless.

JC lives and works on 5 hectares of vines and is based in Faverolles-sur-Cher but is originally from Brittany. The terroir is mainly clay, sand, and silex over limestone. Thanks to a lot of determination and passion with the right and decisive encounters such as Hervé Villemade or Olivier Lemasson his production grew in a spectacular and very harmonious way.

His hard work and dedication both in the vineyard and cellar is admirable and the wines resulting are precise, sharp and express an unprecedented and ravishing elegance.
